NATHAN ROSENKRANZ
Hairstylist
New York City based hairstylist and Philadelphia native Nathan Rosenkranz knew early on that he wanted a career that would allow him to work with his hands and create things of beauty that were both functional and evoked emotion. Nathan started his journey studying architecture then moved to culinary arts but it wasn’t until he was introduced to hairstyling that he found his true calling.
Over the years Nathan started off assisting and learning from industry icons such as Rodney Cutler and Duffy. Nathan has since become a sought after hairstylist for his attention to detail, broad skillset, strong work ethic, magnetic personality and positive easy going attitude.
A staple at New York Fashion Week for fourteen seasons, Nathan started as part of the CUTLER Fashion Week team assisting on more than 150 shows including Amsale, Claire Pettibone, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch, Diane Von Furstenberg, Jill Stewart, Vivienne Tam, Levi’s, and Luca Luca. Nathan now leads his own team at New York Fashion Week as a brand ambassador for luxury haircare company ALTERNA.
Prior to signing with ALTERNA in 2013, Nathan was a Master Artistic Educator for professional haircare brand MATRIX, traveling the country teaching advanced, cutting and styling as well as working as a platform artist as part of the Matrix Artistic Design Team.

In 2011, Nathan won the title of Matrix Mannequin Mania Master for his creation “AVA”. Out of more than 10,000 entries nationwide, 12 finalists were chosen by a panel of leading industry professionals, including top beauty editors as well as famed stylist and Bravo celebrity Tabatha Coffey. Final winners were then voted on by America. The four winners were selected for their originality, creativity and technique in their category. In addition, Nate’s sponsored entries into the influential North American Hair Styling Awards (NAHA) have been widely acclaimed.
